
The Talal fish is native to the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman but is also found in the shallow, coastal, and relatively warm waters of the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Red Sea. It has tender, white to pinkish flesh with a firm and fatty texture, containing few bones. This fish is highly nutritious.
